From the Celin B brand to the logo we all know today, Elisabetta Franchi has not only realized her dream but also that of countless fashion enthusiasts who have found a new style in her brand: a story of passion, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit that has made EF known all over the world.
Elisabetta Franchi designer: the beginning
The origins of Elisabetta Franchi are anything but stellar: she is a true "self-made woman." She was born in Bologna in 1968 to a family of humble means, but, despite numerous difficulties, her determination and passion help her complete her studies, define her dream, and get closer to it.
She soon entered the world of fashion, initially as a sales assistant. This experience will also be useful to her: it will be the starting point for understanding the needs and tastes of customers, to study the latest trends.
In 1996, with the opening of a small atelier together with five collaborators, Elisabetta Franchi creates her first garments. Two years later, Betty Blue S.p.a. is born, thanks to which she produces the CELYN B collection. What does the B stand for? For "Betta", of course, her nickname!

The next step was the purchase of an old pharmaceutical company in which to set up the headquarters of the Maison: it was 2006.
Elisabetta Franchi tells Vanity Fair: "I put my name, my face, my life into it. I put everything, I put the essence of my being. I believe that today the world wants to know who is behind a dress, what thoughts, what projects. And I do not hide."
Elisabetta Franchi will indeed put her name on it in the end: since 2012 she has started signing her pieces, giving life to her eponymous brand.
In 2013, finally, she is in Milan to celebrate the opening, in the Italian city dedicated to fashion, of the first of many showrooms Elisabetta Franchi.

Very active on social channels, where through stories she narrates the daily life not only of her company but also of her life as a woman, mother, wife, and entrepreneur, her presence is starting to become television-based as well. An example of this is the documentary aired on Real Time produced for Discovery Italia titled "Being Elisabetta", which talks about memories and emotions, from the beginning of her career to success. Love for animals
