With the arrival of summer, evening events become almost routine, especially for those who would never give up partying! After all, it's nice to break away from the monotony and leave some space for a formal occasion or other social commitments. Unfortunately, however, we don't always find the time to get ready, perhaps after a long day at work in which we simply prefer not to focus too much on what to wear or worse... how to recover our make-up! We would most likely want to remove our makeup and start all over again, but what if I told you that there is a perfect way to transform your daytime makeup into an evening one?
In the morning, most people choose rather simple and natural makeup, just to look a little more awake! In short, we rarely show up to work with total glam makeup (my compliments to those who manage it!) and it is precisely from your minimal base that we can create a make-up capable of highlighting and accentuating our features without obtaining a mask!
What to get:
Oil absorbing face sheets - Roll Absorb sebum: nicknamed by me ''make up safer'', what are they? Very simple, both are useful for absorbing excess sebum, therefore, ideal for obtaining a fresh and matte result. The former look like sheets of paper, the latter is a tool equipped with a volcanic stone that instantly absorbs excess sebum. Both keep their makeup perfectly, making it practically new!
Cotton buds: We all have them at home, their usefulness lies in cleaning the areas around the eyes where residues of mascara or concealer often settle. Obviously you can very well use a cotton pad, but I prefer to be more precise! (Especially because it perfectly removes the concealer in the creases of the eye) ;)
Fixing spray / Thermal water: after a long day our face will feel heavy, thermal water is an excellent ally to give freshness and soothe the skin, the fixing spray will instead be the ideal ally both in the morning and in the evening, as it will ensure that your make-up lasts longer.
LET’S GET STARTED: LA BASE DEL NOSTRO MAKE-UP
The secret? Use long-lasting products!
Whether the occasion is a club, a dinner or just a drink with friends, long-lasting make-up is definitely what which we must aim for.
The must-haves: the primer, a completely essential product not only because it creates a protective seal for our skin, but also because it will make makeup more uniform and with an impeccable finish .
CC-cream / Light foundation: a light base will allow you to avoid the ugly mask effect, opt for something resistant but with a fluid texture and coverage suited to your needs, without overdoing it. Instead, try to keep a more natural base and cover discolourations and imperfections with a concealer, obviously also a long-lasting one!
Blush / Cream highlighter: I personally find that cream products give a plumper, fresher and more natural effect. Nothing better for a simple base that you can touch up before going out for the evening!
Waterproof mascara: discounted? Probably, but this is truly a must-have! My advice is to make light passes, to avoid a fake and lumpy effect, so you can add a final layer before going out!
Fixing sprayand you are ready to face your day, work, study or anything else!
Finally home, it's time to get ready for our evening. Surely you have already thought about your outfit in advance, it's time for a little touch up to our make-up!
Where to start?
As mentioned before, equip yourself with absorbent sebum and thermal water, give your face a nice refreshment and, if necessary, take a look at what needs to be touched up, be it a small pimple or something else, equip yourself with a concealer and renew your base.
What to focus on:
The eyeliner: definitely an excellent ally for a more intense and bold make-up, you can choose a colored eyeliner for a more festive look, or simple black for maximum elegance.
Eyeshadow: a smoky eye is a must for an evening look! If you have a little more time, equip yourself with eyeshadows and make your look intriguing and seductive by choosing intense colors that highlight your eyes. Without forgetting the addition of more or less intense glitter highlights depending on the occasion!
Lipstick: probably the easiest step! A lipstick is capable of dramatically embellishing your makeup, especially if you opt for more intense shades or bright glosses. Please, carefully measure the addition of eyeshadow and lipstick, rather, choose the protagonist to highlight between the two!
What to highlight: contouring and highlighting will be the final touch, for a pleasant luminous effect, add highlights to the inner corner of the eye, eyebrow arch, cheekbones and nose. While to make your face sculptural and symmetrical, a light contouring could highlight your features making everything impeccable!
